In June 1996, I. M. Skaugen Group and Hubei Tianfa Group committed a total of 15 million US dollars in establishing Hubei Tian En Petroleum Gas Transportation Co., Ltd., the first Sino-foreign joint shipping venture in China.

Besides the capital investment, I. M. Skaugen Group also has transferred its state-of-art LPG barging operation technology to TNGC and helped establishing a quality management system in its Wuhan Operation Center.

Upon the delivery of newly launched, fully pressurized vessels in 1999 and 2000, TNGC fleet has a combination of 6,800 cubic meters for transportation of butane, propane, LPG mix, pentane, and other CCS certified petrochemical products up to the upper reaches of Yangtze River.

TNGC is also a cost and service leader. Our four barges, namely, TE 101, TE 102, TE 103 and TE 104, offer a more flexible and safer way of operation for our customers.

Value-added service has been provided to TNGC customers as well. It is our belief that by helping our customer to gain competitive advantages can TNGC succeeds to become the premier shipping company along Yangtze River.

At the same time, We care for Safety, Health & Environment. By facilitating the distribution of petrochemicals in a cost-effective operation in an environmentally friendly mode, we have dedicated TNGC to a better way of living for the people along the Mother River of China.
